DNA tests are good, but not for those who are in healthy marriages.
The DNA palava has been going on in our nation for a while now, what is making many citizens not conduct this test on their children is basically the lack of money to do it.
If the government should order a free DNA test for every interested person/family, you will see how our land will be filled with chaos and issues, many people have been brought up, not by their biological fathers.
Now, imagine a home filled with peace and harmony between a father and his 10-year-old and 7-year-old children. However, imagine if he later discovers that these children are not biologically his, but rather fathered by another individual. How would he feel?
If DNA is made free, we have some homes that will not conduct it, not because it is not good but because they don't have trust issues, why will you marry someone you can't trust? Some men will say "You dey trust women." Meanwhile, it's because the cheating of a woman was accompanied by a child, that was why you knew she cheated, the man who she cheated with won't be diagnosed that he has a child somewhere, and his wife will still be thinking her husband is the best thing after milky doughnuts.
The DNA test favours men the most because the consequence of cheating is often more visible in females than males.
Our society is corrupt and it is a result of not pursuing the core values of growth, no self-discipline, no respect for spouse, no respect for one's body, and pretense all around.
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to marry a person you can trust, if you can't trust him/her wholeheartedly, don't marry, remain single till you can trust people.
"My Pet Aversion is to be cheated on in marriage." And this will be the reason for me to find a person who can be trusted so that I won't hurt myself in the end. I will be a trustworthy person so that I can find the one who matches me.
