"Do you see all those church girls that look decent, they are the real olosho, they will wear a gown that reaches the ground, but they are very promiscuous."
This is the utterance that comes out from a person who always sees faults in anything good. They will make you believe that things you think are good are not good because people can pretend. If they see a decent lady, they believe she's pretending.
I have heard something like "Do you see all those Muslim ladies that cover everything are very promiscuous?"
People often project their own experiences, beliefs, and values onto others. Someone who has made certain choices about their own body and sexuality might assume that others who dress conservatively are being hypocritical or hiding their true nature.
This phenomenon is called "projection" in psychology. It's when we attribute our own thoughts, feelings, or motivations to someone else, often unconsciously.
Because you've dated several ladies who appeared decent and all of them are flirts doesn't mean the rest in the world are flirts.
It is important to recognize and appreciate that many ladies who dress modestly and decently are genuinely decent, kind, and respectful. Their choice of clothing reflects their personal values or personal style, and it's not indicative of hypocrisy or pretence.
These women are true to themselves and their beliefs, and their modest dress is a reflection of their values which may be sponsored by their faith or cultural beliefs. They may be confident, intelligent, and strong individuals who don't feel the need to conform to societal pressure or the world's standards.
You don't assume that every decently dressed lady is promiscuous because you've dealt with many of them.
It is about personality and deeds should not be assumed, let it flow from within and then you judge it, don't judge from afar. ✍🏾
